Below are pots which were fired July 6, 2022. They are stoneware fired to ^6

The impressions were made with carved wooden blocks
from India-whose intended use was to print designs on fabric.

This is what I call a "Birthday bowl" for my youngest
great grandchild.

about 8 in. diameter

8 and 1/2 in wide

a tiny pitcher, about 3 in. high

These range in height from 5 to 7 inches.

spoon rests

Had some fun carving designs on these mugs. Then stain
 was added, and wiped off.

Below are pots from a ^6 firing on March 30, 2022.

                                      9.5" diam.

  • I'm posting a failure too!...big disappointment!                                       I think it was a shrinkage discrepancy problem.

                      10" diam. I tried a fluxing wash on this one.

                9" diam.

          a "Birthday bowl" for my oldest granddaughter;
          her older brother has a similar one
